St George Island, Florida

We have been gone the last two weeks enjoying our family. First a week at St.George Island with our daughter's family and then to Las Vegas to our son's home. We feel so blessed to have been able to be with both of them.

St. George Island, Florida - Daughter and grandkids.

Son-in-law enjoying his kayak.

Texas caviar and low country boil are two traditional foods we fix year after year on our family beach trip.

After loosing our canopy due to wind and rain and renting another we learned from the rental company to sand bag, remove the canvas and lower the supports at night.

Red fish sand sculpture is our daughter's Father's Day card to her Daddy. His favorite fish to catch and fortunately he caught several and we enjoyed eating them.

 He liked it very much.
 House we rented this year.
It was a great week! Next post- Las Vegas. We are SO BLESSED with a wonderful family.

Every day is a gift and I am so thankful!

  2. Hello Dear Bonnie,

It's so nice to hear from you! Well this is just a really neat post. I love the photo of the straw purse and hat on the table with cheese and grapes and the beautiful blue water in the background. Great shot!! Your daughter is sooo pretty. :) This looks like a wonderful vacation spent with family; my MIL used to make the low country boil when we were all at the beach together. It's yummy, isn't it?

I'm so glad your kids are coming home for the Fourth of July; I know that means the world to you. Enjoy and be blessed!

    Hugs,

    Denise

  3. Loved your family beach pictures!!! Such a happy family time. Surprised to see so many shells! Is St. Joseph's Island that far from P.C.? P.C. has so few shells. We had to BUY some for the boys when we were there!Maxine

  6. You DO have a beautiful family! That beach house looks fantastic with all of those rocking chairs overlooking the beach. What could be better?! I've never been to St. George Island, but have heard how nice it is. We are planning our family vacation to FL in just a couple of weeks. We will be near St. Augustine at Crescent Beach.

  8. Cute family you have, Bonnie, and I know having everyone together makes you happy. I'm heading to Tennessee in a couple of days to help unpack there and bringing the little girls back with me for a few days before parents arrive. Hope you have had a most wonderful day.
